What Is Spunbonded Non-woven Fabric? What Is The Difference With Non-woven Fabric?

Spunbonded non-woven fabric belongs to a kind of non-woven fabric.

Non-woven fabric is a kind of fabric that does not need to be spun and woven, but the textile staple fibers or filaments are oriented or randomly supported to form a fiber network structure, and then strengthened by mechanical, thermal bonding or chemical methods. In short, it is not made of yarns interwoven and knitted together, but the fibers are bonded together directly by physical means, so that when you get the glue scale in your clothes, you will find that there is no single thread to pull out.

Nonwovens break through the traditional textile principle, and has the characteristics of short process, fast production speed, high yield, low cost, wide use, and multiple raw material sources.

Its main uses can be broadly divided into:

1.Medical and health cloth: operating clothes, protective clothing, disinfectant cloth, masks, diapers, women's sanitary napkins, etc.

2.Home decoration cloth: wall cloth, tablecloth, bed sheets, bedspread, etc.

3.Cloth for heel fitting: lining, fusible lining, flocculant, shaped cotton, various synthetic leather cloth, etc.

4. Industrial cloth: filter material, insulation material, cement packaging bag, geotextile, covering cloth, etc.

5. Agricultural cloth: crop protection cloth, seedling cloth, irrigation cloth, heat preservation curtain, etc.

6.Others: space cotton, thermal insulation material, linoleum, cigarette filter, tea bag, etc.

Classification of non-woven fabric:

1.spunlaced non-woven fabric

Spunlaced process is to spray high pressure fine water into one or more layers of fiber net, so that the fibers intertwine with each other, so that the fiber net can be strengthened and have a certain strength.

2.heat-bonded nonwoven fabric

Thermal bonding non-woven fabric refers to the addition of fiber or powder hot melt bonding reinforcement materials in the fiber network, and the fiber network is reinforced into a cloth by heating, melting and cooling.

3.Pulp air flow into a net non - woven fabric

Air flow into the net can also be called dust-free paper, dry papermaking non-woven. It is the use of air mesh technology to open the wood pulp fiberboard into a single fiber state, and then use the air method to make the fiber agglutinate on the mesh curtain, the fiber mesh is reinforced into cloth.

4.wet nonwoven fabrics

Wet non-woven fabric is placed in the water medium of fiber raw materials open loose into a single fiber, at the same time make different fiber raw materials mixed, made of fiber suspension slurry, suspension slurry transported to the network mechanism, fiber in the wet state into a network and then reinforced into cloth.

5.Spunbonded non-woven fabric

Spunbonded non-woven fabric is in the polymer has been extruded, stretched and formed continuous filament, filament laid into a network, fiber network after its own bonding, thermal bonding, chemical bonding or mechanical reinforcement method, the fiber network into a non-woven fabric.

6.Melt-blown nonwoven fabric

Melt-blown non-woven process: polymer feeding - melt extrusion - fiber formation - cooling - into a network - reinforcement into cloth.

7.Needled non-woven fabric

Needled non-woven cloth is a dry non-woven cloth, needled non-woven cloth is the use of puncturing needles, the fluffy fiber net strengthened into a cloth.

8.Stitched non-woven fabric

Stitched non-woven fabric is a dry non-woven fabric, stitched fabric is the use of warp knitted coil structure of fiber net, yarn layer, non-textile materials (such as plastic sheets, plastic thin foil, etc.) or their combination for reinforcement, in order to make non-woven fabric.
